About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Supervisor - Housekeeping to join Jumeirah Saadiyat Island.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations across assigned areas, ensuring compliance with Jumeirah standards.
- Supervise and guide Housekeeping Supervisors and Team Leaders, ensuring effective delegation and performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness and maintenance standards.
- Manage inventory and control usage of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost efficiency.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and F&B to ensure timely room readiness and address maintenance issues.
- Handle escalated guest complaints professionally and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Support the Housekeeping Manager in scheduling, training programs, and performance appraisals for the team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including HACCP and hotel policies.
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- A bachelor’s degree in hospitality or any other relevant field.
- 3–5 years total experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
