Senior Systems Engineer - Space, Viasat Government

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer - Space, Viasat Government based in the United States.

This role supports the development, integration, verification, and operation of complex space systems delivering critical mission capabilities.
You’ll contribute across mission architecture, spacecraft systems engineering, payload integration, mission operations, and verification.
The position offers exposure to the full systems lifecycle, from early architecture and requirements through integration, testing, launch, and on-orbit operations.
You’ll collaborate across spacecraft, payload, software, ground systems, suppliers, and distributed engineering teams.
The role also provides opportunities to apply model-based systems engineering, mission simulations, and advanced engineering tools to challenging space programs.
You’ll help identify technical risks, resolve complex system-level issues, and support major engineering and mission-readiness reviews.
This is a remote U.S. opportunity requiring U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
