Job Description & Summary

Join PwC’s Advanced Technology Solutions team as a ServiceNow Solution Architect (m/f) and help shape enterprise-scale service management solutions for leading global clients and complex internal platform environments. This role is suited to experienced ServiceNow architects who can define end-to-end architecture, guide delivery across multiple stakeholders, and ensure platform solutions are scalable, secure, supportable, and aligned with long-term business and technology goals.

We are looking for candidates with deep ServiceNow architecture expertise, strong understanding of cross-product platform design, and the ability to translate complex business and technical requirements into clear solution blueprints, governance standards, and technical decisions. You should be comfortable working across architecture, engineering, integration, security, data, and product teams while influencing senior stakeholders across global delivery environments.

The Role:

This role focuses on enterprise-scale ServiceNow solution and platform architecture within a global Service Management Platform environment. You will act as the architecture and design authority for assigned initiatives, shaping target-state architecture for a new global instance and supporting the delivery of new ServiceNow products and services.

The work spans cross-product architecture, integrations, data and service models, platform security, governance, and solution delivery. You will help ensure that solutions are built using strong platform patterns, remain maintainable and upgradeable, and align with enterprise architecture standards and business outcomes.

What you will do:

• Own end-to-end ServiceNow solution architecture from discovery and option analysis through design, build, testing, deployment, and transition to operations
• Translate business and technical requirements into architecture blueprints, solution designs, data models, integration designs, technical specifications, and architecture decision records
• Define and govern platform architecture principles, reusable patterns, development standards, security controls, and technical guardrails
• Design solutions using ServiceNow baseline capabilities and proven patterns, while challenging unnecessary customization and reducing technical debt
• Architect secure, resilient, and supportable integrations using APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, identity and access controls, and enterprise data exchange patterns
• Provide architecture leadership for ServiceNow data and service models, including CMDB and CSDM alignment, service relationships, data ownership, lifecycle, reconciliation, and governance
• Lead architecture workshops and design reviews, document trade-offs and risks, and secure alignment from business and technology stakeholders
• Review and approve detailed designs and critical configurations, and guide developers and implementation partners to ensure delivery aligns with approved architecture
• Address non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, availability, security, privacy, compliance, observability, disaster recovery, and supportability
• Maintain architecture documentation and support planning across releases, upgrades, environments, testing, and operational readiness
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and mentor architects, developers, product teams, and delivery partners

What we are looking for:

• Extensive experience architecting and delivering complex, enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions
• Strong track record in roles such as ServiceNow Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Platform Architect
• Deep understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, scoped applications, configuration and customization boundaries, data model, security model, integration patterns, release management, and upgrade considerations
• Ability to create and defend architecture blueprints, solution designs, governance standards, technical decisions, and long-term roadmaps
• Strong expertise across one or more ServiceNow product areas, with the ability to design cross-product solutions using shared platform services
• Strong understanding of CMDB, CSDM, service modelling, data governance, integrations, identity and access, platform security, performance, and operational support
• Proven experience leading architecture reviews, resolving complex technical issues, managing architectural risk, and guiding delivery teams and implementation partners
• Experience with enterprise architecture, ITIL practices, Agile delivery, testing, release management, and production transition
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and presentation skills
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator

• Relevant Certified Implementation Specialist credentials

• Certified Application Developer
• Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) as a strong asset

• Experience working in global platform or enterprise transformation programs

Additional Information:

Salary: starting from 4000 EUR/month
(The stated salary represents the minimum for this position. Final compensation is determined individually based on your experience, expertise, seniority, and overall profile.)
