AI in this role
Amazon Connect is an AI-powered customer experience solution that enables superior outcomes at a lower cost. Since its 2017 public launch Amazon Connect has become an AI leader transforming how organizations of all types interact with their customers.
The Customer Engagement Experience organization in Amazon Connect Customer builds the applications, services, and developer tools that help businesses deliver personalized, proactive service to their customers. Our goal is a consistent experience for everyone who interacts with a business through Amazon Connect Customer, whether that's an end customer, an agent, or a supervisor, on any surface or device.
Blitz is at the center of that goal. We're bringing ECW, the hosted widget, agent chat, and mobile renderings together into a single architecture that adapts to each persona through configuration. We own the chat experience layer, chat libraries, and admin configuration that power conversational interactions across every surface. AI is changing how customers and businesses talk to each other, and Blitz is building for that shift. We put AI at the core of everything we design, so customers get answers faster, agents spend their time where it matters most, and businesses keep getting better at serving their customers. Because we build on one architecture, every AI capability we ship reaches every persona and every surface at once.
On this team, you'll help shape what AI-powered customer conversations look like for thousands of businesses. You'll take on hard problems at scale, make big architectural decisions, and see your work reach customers quickly.
Key job responsibilities
• Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems. * Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software. * You are creative, responsible, and able to dive deep into emerging serverless AWS technologies. * You will think about business opportunities, operational issues, architectural diagrams, scalability, security, and the customer perspective in the course of a single conversation.
