Description
Key Responsibilities:
- 7+ years of experience in Software web application testing or automation testing using Selenium, Playwright, Appium using any of the programming languages Java, .Net, Python.
- Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify test automation opportunities.
- Ability to build an automation framework from scratch.
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks to improve test coverage and execution efficiency.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD-integrated automated test suites.
- Execute API testing using automation tools and validate request/response data.
- Validate API responses using tools such as Postman, Swagger, etc.
- Experience working in Database and validate data using queries.
- Perform web application testing across multiple browsers and platforms.
- Perform mobile testing using BrowserStack.
- Conduct mobile application testing on Android and iOS devices using automation tools.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity, usability, compatibility and UAT testing.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Experience in working with Azure DevOps for Test Management.
- Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
- Support production deployments and perform post-release validation.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote automation best practices.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with AI tools to utilize in automation.

Qualification
- Software Test Engineer with 7+ years of expertise in web application testing and test automation using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, and Appium, with proficiency in Java, .NET, or Python.
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), coupled with excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- The role requires the ability to develop effective testing strategies under compressed timelines while maintaining product quality, investigate and manage production issues through structured root cause analysis, and adapt testing approaches in fast-paced Agile environments where requirements may be unclear or evolve during the sprint.
- Candidates should demonstrate practical experience in defining realistic automation roadmaps, balancing business expectations with technical feasibility, and implementing scalable automation solutions.
- Additionally, the successful candidate will be skilled in coordinating end-to-end testing across multiple teams and external dependencies, proactively managing risks, ensuring test environment readiness, and driving quality outcomes throughout the delivery lifecycle.
