Within the Julius Baer Job Scheduling Development team, we are looking for a dedicated Software Developer. Our primary need is someone who thrives in automation and governance of job scheduling in Automic Automation.

In this role, you will streamline job development, maintain standards, and drive automation initiatives to scale the current development and deployment of jobs.

The ideal candidate has several years of experience in software development, particularly in Python, SQL, and API programming with a strong focus on AI Technologies.

Knowledge of further languages such as Java or JavaScript is beneficial.
The candidate is willing to gain expertise in job scheduling technology, namely Broadcom Automic Automation.

YOUR CHALLENGE

Responsabilities

• Develop and maintain automated backend solutions for the area of Job Scheduling (Broadcom Automic Automation)

• Drive best practices in governance to ensure standardization and compliance across all projects.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Design, build, and deploy AI-driven processes to enhance client experiences.

• Develop and implement automation strategies for job scheduling to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Drive best practices in governance to ensure standardization and compliance across all projects.

YOUR PROFILE

Competencies

• Several Years proven experiences in Software Development and a good understanding of the common software design patterns with a strong focus on AI technologies

• Proficiency in in software development languages such as Python, SQL Queries and further languages like Java, JavaScript, which are relevant to Automic Automation.

• Has proven experience in API programming, integration, and design, including REST, Java, and JSON.

• Has Experience with AI frameworks and tools relevant to process automation.

• Demonstrate a good understanding of infrastructure and software architecture and the ability to connect both domains effectively.

• Experience with job scheduling platforms and automation-related technologies is considered as an advantage.

• Strong Willingness to deepen expertise in Broadcom Automic Automation.

Education and skills requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience

• Resilient, performance- and result-oriented personality, who is used working interpedently.

• Personality, who is keen on innovations, developing solutions, and drive them forward by own responsibility.

• With the ability to understand complex contexts and develop simple solution from that.

• Strongly team player with an integrative personality, who enjoys working in an international and interdisciplinary environment, where he can apply his strong communication skills every day.
