Business Introduction
GSK remains committed to achieving bold commercial ambitions for the future. By 2031, we aim to deliver £40 billion in annual sales, leveraging our existing strong performance momentum to significantly increase our positive impact on the health of billions of patients globally. Our Ahead Together strategy is centred on early intervention to prevent and alter the course of disease, thereby protecting people and supporting healthcare systems.
Our diverse portfolio consists of vaccines, specialty medicines, and general medicines.
Through continuous innovation and a dedicated focus on scientific and technical excellence, we strive to develop and launch new, groundbreaking treatments that address critical health challenges.

You will lead how GSK uses AI to deliver measurable commercial outcomes across Market Access - spanning enterprise account management, organized provider account systems (IDNs, health systems, ACOs, GPOs, and specialty pharmacy networks), pricing, contracting, trade and channel management (wholesalers, distributors, specialty pharmacies, and 340B), and payer engagement. You will sit with business leaders, understand how their work actually gets done, and decide where AI and agentic technology can make the biggest difference. Then you will own delivery end to end - discovery, build, evaluation, production deployment, and ongoing performance management - working hands-on with agentic frameworks, LLM-based workflows, and the commercial technology stack behind market access (CRM and account platforms, contract and rebate management, trade data, and master data).

This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and commercial strategy. You will make your own feasibility and build-vs-buy calls, define what "good" looks like for non-deterministic AI systems, and move solutions from proof-of-concept into governed, monitored production use that integrates with systems of record such as enterprise CRM, contract/chargeback/rebate platforms, and trade data warehouses. Success is measured by adopted capabilities and quantified commercial impact.

We're looking for clear thinkers who combine commercial awareness with practical delivery skills - someone business leaders trust and technologist's respect. This is a chance to shape where GSK invests in AI across market access, in support of our mission to unite science, technology, and talent to get ahead of disease together

Key Responsibilities

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Identify where AI and agentic technology can create the most value across enterprise account management, organized provider account systems (e.g., IDN/health system account planning, affiliation and hierarchy mapping, formulary and pathway monitoring), pricing, contracting, chargeback and rebate processing, trade and channel management (wholesaler, distributor, specialty pharmacy, 340B), and payer engagement --- weighing impact, feasibility, and risk to prioritize investment. shape the AI roadmap, balancing quick wins with long-term capability, and assess build, buy, and partner options, including AI capabilities embedded in incumbent platforms versus custom agentic solutions.
  • Partner with Market Access, Commercial Operations, Trade & Distribution, Finance, Tech, and Data teams to turn pain points into clear, specific problem statements across enterprise account planning, provider account management, contracting, and channel operations.
  • Build business cases with clear expected benefits, costs, and success measures;
  • Own delivery end to end - leading data scientists, engineers, UX designers, and vendors through design, build, evaluation, and production deployment, including integration with CRM/account platforms (e.g., Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Veeva), contract and rebate management systems (e.g., Model N, Vistex, SAP), and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure) - making key build and release decisions tied back to the business case.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and commercial data owners to secure the data foundation these products depend on - contract, pricing, rebate, chargeback, claims, formulary, and trade data (EDI 844/852/867, wholesaler and specialty distributor data, 340B covered entity data) quality, lineage, and master data alignment (customer, account, and organizational hierarchy mastering across HCO/HCP, IDN, GPO, and ship-to/sold-to relationships, e.g., via Reltio, Veeva Network, or IQVIA OneKey).
  • Set the quality bar for AI solutions - validate before release, then own them after go-live: monitor model, prompt, and agent performance in production, manage versioning and change control, triage failure cases and drift and run continuous improvement loops from user feedback.
  • Ensure responsible AI use, with human oversight, documentation, compliance, and governance built in from the start, including GxP/SOX-relevant controls, government pricing and 340B compliance, privacy, and auditability for contract and pricing decisions.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, vendor performance, and delivery risk, flagging issues early.
  • Prototype and validate solutions in the real world with account teams, contracting, trade, and channel operations users, then drive adoption - enablement, training, documentation, and SOP updates -  and convert proven solutions into reusable patterns other Commercial and D&T teams can adopt.

Why You?
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals

  • 8+ years of experience in life sciences or healthcare, including experience in market access commercial operations such as enterprise or provider account management (IDNs, health systems, GPOs), pricing, contracting, trade and channel management (wholesaler, distributor, specialty pharmacy, 340B), or payer engagement.
  • Experience translating complex business problems into programs with measurable results.
  • Experience setting priorities and developing roadmaps or investment cases for senior leadership decision-making.
  • Experience overseeing technology delivery from design through production deployment on commercial platforms such as CRM/account management, contract and rebate management, or trade data and master data management. Experience with AI or advanced analytics solutions is preferred.
  • Experience managing delivery teams and vendors on complex programs, including budgets, timelines, and quality.
  • Experience building and operating agentic AI or LLM-based workflows in production environments, from concept through measured outcome (e.g., contract and amendment analysis, chargeback/rebate validation, account intelligence and next-best-action, trade data anomaly detection).
  • Experience with market access commercial systems, including enterprise CRM and account platforms, contract/chargeback/rebate and gross-to-net systems, trade data (EDI 844/852/867 and wholesaler/distributor feeds), formulary and claims data (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, MMIT), and customer/account master data.
  • Experience with agile delivery and testing/validation in regulated environments, including computer system validation and SOX/GxP-aligned change control.
  • Experience partnering with data scientists and vendors on the evaluation, monitoring, and governance of models and agentic workflows.
  • Experience presenting complex information to senior stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, data science, computer science, public health, or life sciences

Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MSc, MPH, PhD) in a relevant discipline.
  • Direct experience building AI solutions for market access operations, enterprise or provider account intelligence, contract and trade analytics, real-world evidence, or health technology assessment.
  • Experience with IDN/health system affiliation data and account hierarchy modeling (e.g., Definitive Healthcare, IQVIA OneKey), and with 340B, specialty pharmacy, and distributor channel data and compliance.
  • Experience designing or operating agentic AI/automation platforms (e.g., LLM orchestration frameworks, workflow or agent builders) in a regulated enterprise setting.
  • Familiarity with cloud AI platforms (Azure AI, Google Cloud, AWS), data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks), integration of AI with Salesforce or Veeva, and MLOps/LLMOps concepts.
  • Experience with human-in-the-loop systems, prompt engineering, or deploying generative AI in regulated environments.
  • Experience assessing AI vendors or platforms.
  • Experience leading transformation, merger integration, or operating model change.

This role is offered as a hybrid position. You will need to be on-site part of the week and work remotely the remainder. We are transparent about the need for strong cross-functional collaboration, commercial judgement, and technical understanding.

Questions you could be asked

  1. How do you structure and test a prompt to get consistent output from a language model?
  2. How do you decide when an AI agent can act on its own versus asking for approval first?
  3. How do you monitor a model once it's live, and how do you know it needs retraining?
  4. How do you decide that one model's output is better than another's for a given task?
  5. How do you decide which parts of a product should use AI versus a fixed set of rules?

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Prompt engineering, AI agents, ML Ops, AI Evaluation, and AI Product. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
  • Show where AI is part of your daily process, not a one-off project. This role expects it to be a running habit.
