ORGOVYX is a priority brand and key growth driver of the prostate cancer portfolio, launched in early 2021 with our co-promote partner, Sumitomo Pharma America, Inc. Since launch, it has treated >100,000 men with prostate cancer and has delivered double-digit growth every year.


The Senior Manager of Integrated Insights & Strategy (IIS) is a critical strategic advisor to the Orgovyx brand team. Reporting to the IIS Prostate Cancer Team Lead, this role is responsible for generating actionable insights that drive commercial performance, inform business decisions, and unlock growth opportunities.


As part of the Global Commercial Analytics organization, the Senior Manager will integrate market research, analytics, and commercial performance data to address critical business questions for the Orgovyx brand team and the broader prostate cancer franchise. This individual will translate complex information into clear, compelling recommendations and serve as a trusted thought partner to cross-functional stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Strategic Partnership & Commercial Insights

  • Partner with commercial stakeholders to proactively identify, prioritize, and address key business questions
  • Deliver integrated insights and strategic recommendations that support brand performance and long-term growth
  • Conduct business assessments, patient journey analyses, and scenario planning to identify risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable narratives for senior stakeholders, integrating new data and existing knowledge into compelling and persuasive arguments supporting specific, actionable recommendations
  • Support development of long-term brand and franchise strategies through evidence-based insights

Market Research & Insight Generation

  • Design and execute research to inform brand and franchise decisions
  • Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to address priority business questions
  • Develop, commission and contract research through preferred vendors
  • Synthesize research, analytics, field insights, and performance data into integrated recommendations
  • Use AI-enabled tools and emerging methods (e.g., qualitative synthesis and transcript analysis, questionnaire and discussion guide development, secondary data triangulation and reporting) to accelerate and scale insight generation
  • Evaluate and verify AI-generated outputs for accuracy, reliability, and potential bias, applying sound human judgment before insights are communicated or used in decision-making
  • Translate insights into clear, actionable deliverables for stakeholders
  • Create and manage market research budget in collaboration with alliance counterparts
  • Ensure all market research activities comply with Pfizer’s internal guidelines, as well as industry regulations and legal requirements

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Forecasting, Performance Analytics, Data Science, Digital and other cross-functional teams to develop integrated recommendations
  • Partner with SMPA alliance analytics & insights counterparts to jointly align research plans and execution approach
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to execute learning plans and address evolving business needs
  • Contribute to capability building through knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement

QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MPH or equivalent) preferred
  • 6+ years of experience of professional experience or 5+ years with advanced degree
  • 3+ years of experience in market research, analytics, consulting, strategic planning, commercial excellence, or related fields

Skills & Capabilities

  • Demonstrated success solving complex business challenges through data-driven insights
  • Deep expertise in market research, analytics, and commercial insight generation
  • Experience designing and managing qualitative and quantitative research programs
  • Ability to assess and direct vendor technical capabilities and manage risks in the analytic process
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled research and analytics tools, including synthetic personas and automated insight-generation platforms
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization process, as well as industry competitive dynamics
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions and pharmaceutical industry guidelines
  • Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed environment
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data visualization tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing, market research, or related field
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Prior Oncology knowledge and experience

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $124,400.00 to $207,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
