As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) in Prime Air Europe, you'll own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex, cross-functional programs that underpin Prime Air's mission to deliver safely and at scale. This role sits at the intersection of technical delivery and strategic program leadership, serving as the critical bridge between engineering teams and business stakeholders while driving operational excellence across Prime Air's European operations. Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities. As a Senior TPM in Prime Air's European Operations, you will own the full lifecycle of technical programs spanning drone delivery systems, ground infrastructure systems and the customer experience built on top of them, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery at the highest safety and quality standards. You will work backward from customer opportunity: identify where the European customer experience limits adoption or leaves opportunity unrealised, quantify what it is worth, write the requirements, and define success in measurable customer terms before any build starts. You will insist on solutions that are durable and reusable, so that what one country needs is built once in a way the next country inherits, rather than accumulating per-country workarounds. You will lead technical risk assessment frameworks, proactively identifying risks, developing mitigation strategies, and driving resolution across cross-functional engineering teams to keep programs on track. You will drive cross-functional integration of European and US technical infrastructure, coordinating with engineering teams on system architecture decisions and technical dependencies, and evaluating the system-level designs that come back. A critical part of your role involves establishing and maintaining standardized technical processes, tooling, and operational frameworks that drive efficiency and scalability across European programs. You will develop and maintain executive-level technical dashboards (e.g., QuickSight), creating standardized metrics and review processes that enable data-driven decision making across global operations, and you will own the business cadence those reviews run on. In partnership with senior technical and business leadership across EU and US, you will drive alignment on priorities and program execution, translating complex technical information into clear, actionable insights. You will champion continuous improvement and innovation initiatives while ensuring teams maintain the highest safety and security standards. Working with the Infrastructure Expansion and Deployment, Regulatory and Operations teams, you will ensure that the technical infrastructure, the systems and the customer experience are ready for each new site launch in the UK and the EU, and that operations can run what you deliver without you.
