The Product Security and Privacy Organization (PSPO) protects Roche Diagnostics products, our customers and ultimately patients from cybersecurity and privacy risks. As our products become more connected and more intelligent, the work we do becomes more central to how Roche competes and how patients are protected.

Role Purpose

As Strategy & Insights Intern within the PSPO Strategic Operations team, you will help build the reporting and data foundation that allows PSPO to measure and improve its performance. PSPO is currently transforming how it works, moving from manual reporting and spreadsheets toward automated, AI-enabled dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility of our security and privacy posture across the product portfolio. You will be part of building that from the ground up.

This is a genuinely formative role. You will work alongside the Programme Manager, Project Managers and Strategic Operations Lead, see how a global function sets strategy and measures progress, and produce work that is used by senior leadership.

You will be responsible to:

• Support the design, build and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track PSPO's performance.
• Own the exploration, testing and recommendation of AI tools that could improve how PSPO reports, analyses and automates its work.
• Help establish and maintain a single, reliable source of truth for product and portfolio data across PSPO.
• Support the quarterly OKR (Objectives and Key Results) cycle by consolidating inputs from across PSPO chapters, tracking progress and preparing review materials.
• Help prepare and facilitate leadership meetings, monthly project portfolio reviews and internal workshops.
• Help prepare clear, well-structured materials for leadership meetings and reviews, as well as monthly project portfolio meetings and workshops.
• Collaborate with colleagues across PSPO chapters, including occasional support to Risk & Governance initiatives and internal communications activities.

As Security and Privacy Strategy & Insights Intern you have:

Essential

• Recent graduate in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
• Genuine curiosity about AI tools and how they can be applied to real business problems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to turn data into a clear message
• Well organised, with a natural instinct for structure, follow-through and keeping things moving
• Proactive and comfortable working with limited supervision
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills — comfortable structuring, analysing and presenting data clearly
• Fluency in English

Nice to have:

• Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Looker
• Basic familiarity with SQL, Python or similar
• Interest in cybersecurity, privacy or the healthcare technology sector
• Experience with visualisation, presentation design or data storytelling
• No prior professional experience is required. We are looking for potential, curiosity and analytical thinking rather than a track record.
