Join Pigment and work alongside our three-person in-house Tech Talent Acquisition team, helping us attract talent for our Engineering and Product teams. You’ll learn how to identify and engage candidates, build your interviewing skills, and contribute to projects that improve the way we hire.
You’ll start with a strong focus on sourcing, with opportunities to take on more responsibility as you learn. Depending on your interests, you could also contribute to, or take ownership of, a dedicated campus or employer branding project.
What you’ll do
Find and engage tech talent

Learn about our Engineering and Product roles and understand hiring needs alongside recruiters and hiring managers.

Identify potential candidates through LinkedIn, relevant communities, and other sourcing channels.

Write personalised outreach that sparks conversations and helps candidates understand our opportunities.

Build and maintain talent pools, keeping candidate information and follow-ups up to date.

Track response rates and candidate progression to understand what works and refine your approach.
Develop your recruitment and interviewing skills

Shadow recruiters and participate in hiring discussions to learn how we assess candidates.

Review applications and help identify relevant profiles using agreed criteria.

Depending on your interests and progress, gradually conduct initial interviews with coaching from the team.

Help keep candidates informed and supported throughout their recruitment journey.
Contribute to or own projects that interest you
Alongside recruitment, you’ll have the opportunity to support or lead a defined project, with guidance from the team. This could include:

Employer branding: help tell the stories of our Engineering and Product teams through employee content, social media, and tech events.

Campus program: develop school and university relationships, coordinate student events, and help organise internship and apprenticeship recruitment campaigns.

Recruitment improvements: test new sourcing approaches, improve candidate communication, or contribute to our referral programme.

AI and recruitment tools: explore practical ways to support research, outreach preparation, and everyday workflows, and share what you learn with the team.
Your project scope will reflect your interests, the team’s priorities, and the duration of your internship or apprenticeship.
Who you are

You’re looking for a final-year internship or an apprenticeship as part of your studies.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and comfortable communicating in an international environment.

Recruitment interests you: you enjoy meeting people, understanding their motivations, and helping them explore opportunities.

You’re curious about tech: you want to understand what Engineering and Product teams do and the skills they need.

You’re interested in AI: you’re keen to explore new tools and think critically about where they can be useful.

You enjoy projects: you like turning ideas into concrete actions and following through.

You’re a curious learner: you ask questions, welcome feedback, and take the initiative to explore unfamiliar topics.

Previous experience in recruitment, project coordination, or a student organisation is welcome, but no prior tech recruitment experience is required.
