Accountabilities

As Barclays’ Acquisitions Sr Valuations Analyst, you will lead the design and development of automated forecasting and valuation solutions for acquisition marketing investments at the partner, channel, offer, and segment levels. You may also lead marketing investment optimization initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams across USCB. In this role, you will use SAS, SQL, and Python to analyze large datasets, operationalize data platforms, and apply machine learning and advanced analytics to improve forecast accuracy. You will also leverage AI agents to accelerate research, analysis, coding, documentation, testing, and workflow automation, while applying appropriate judgment, validation, data controls, and risk management.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Develop automated solutions to forecast P&Ls across partners, channels, offers, and customer segments.
- Use SAS, SQL, and Python to source, transform, analyze, and validate large and complex datasets and to build scalable forecasting and valuation workflows
- Apply statistical modeling, machine learning, and advanced analytics to improve forecast accuracy, explain business drivers, and support investment decisions..
- Use AI agents effectively and responsibly to support research, coding, model development, documentation, testing, and process automation, with appropriate human review and control.
- Conduct marketing investment optimization across USCB to enable data-informed decision-making.
Partner constructively with Barclays colleagues and cross-functional teams to deliver projects. - Embed a clearly articulated risk culture within the function that reflects Barclays’ Purpose and Values.
