ArianeGroup GmbH in Ottobrunn is looking for a ‘Working student in the area of Tool Development in Thermomechanics (m/f/d)’ for the department ‘Thermodynamics starting from 01.01.2027

Your main tasks and activities:
- Development and improvement of existing tools for post-processing of mechanical FE analyses
- Improvement of the in-house bolt justification tool
- Support and development of tools for automated project management
You have the following qualifications:
- Enrolled in Computational Mechanics, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field with a focus on programming
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute tasks independently
- Basic knowledge of structural mechanics
- Experience in software development using Git
- Proficiency in Python and C++
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is an advantage
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Teamwork and strong communication skills
