Job Summary: Senior App Developer – Adobe Analytics & Adobe Target
 

The Senior App Developer – Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing digital analytics, personalization, and experimentation solutions across enterprise web platforms. This role focuses on enabling accurate data collection, actionable reporting, audience-driven personalization, A/B testing, and performance measurement using Adobe Experience Cloud technologies.

The developer will work closely with product owners, marketing teams, analytics stakeholders, UX teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role requires strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK, Adobe Launch/Data Collection, JavaScript, tag management, data layer design, debugging, and web application integration.

A strong candidate should be able to independently analyze tracking requirements, implement analytics variables such as eVars, props, events, and custom data objects, configure Target activities, validate integrations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure reliable reporting and personalization across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Adobe Analytics tracking across web applications.
• Configure and validate eVars, props, events, processing rules, and report suite mappings.
• Support Adobe Target implementation for personalization, A/B testing, and experience targeting.
• Work on Adobe Web SDK / Alloy.js implementation and migration from legacy libraries where required.
• Design and maintain scalable data layer and data object structures.
• Configure and manage tags using Adobe Data Collection / Launch or tag management platforms such as Tealium iQ.
• Debug analytics and personalization issues using browser tools, Adobe Experience Cloud Debugger, Assurance, and network tracing.
• Collaborate with business and analytics teams to convert measurement requirements into technical implementation plans.
• Ensure analytics and Target integrations are accurate, performant, privacy-compliant, and production-ready.
• Prepare technical documentation, implementation guides, validation reports, and handover materials.
• Partner with QA teams to define test scenarios and validate analytics and personalization behavior across browsers and devices.
• Support production releases, regression testing, issue resolution, and post-release validation.
   

Required Skills

• Adobe Analytics implementation experience.
• Adobe Target implementation and debugging experience.
• Adobe Launch / Adobe Data Collection or Tealium iQ experience.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and browser debugging skills.
• Experience with data layer design and analytics tagging standards.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Platform Web SDK is strongly preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot analytics calls, Target delivery calls, ECID/identity behavior, and network requests.
• Good understanding of personalization, segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting concepts.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
