Job Description:

Days: Thursday - Sunday (flexibility required)

Hours: Day shift, however rotations to nights is expected

Job Summary:

The primary function of Production Control Center (PCC) is to coordinate the Aircraft Maintenance workload in our hub, SDF. Coordination of workload with other departments within Aircraft Maintenance is critical to the success and regulatory compliance of the UPS Airlines by ensuring workloads are manageable in regard to staffing, parts, tooling and needs of the operation.

The PCC Supervisor’s primary responsibility is to review the technical needs of the planned SDF workload while considering the SDF capabilities including staffing, hangar needs, parts, tooling, and the work needed for specific aircraft and the overall workload of all aircraft needing work accomplished at SDF. The PCC is the representative of SDF Line MX to the rest of the organization, so knowledge of airline network needs and aircraft routing is required. Supervisor develops the best maintenance plan for the organization, taking into account all factors internal to SDF line and external. Supervisor also manages a staff of administrative employees which provide administrative support to SDF.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Airframe & Powerplant License.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Effective organization and management skills.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with the Aircraft Router and a background in Routing or Planning would be helpful but are not required if candidate is a quick learner.
• Familiarity with Maintenix and GMM is very helpful.
• Flexible schedule is a must due to the ever-changing operation.​
