Job Description

About the Team:

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's global team of payments consultants, data scientists, and practice experts that partners with issuers, acquirers, and fintechs across the region to solve strategic business challenges, optimize portfolio performance, and drive measurable financial outcomes.

Role Overview:

As a Analyst supporting the CARCAM/Caribbean region, you will play a dual role — driving rigorous quantitative analysis to uncover client insights, while also contributing directly to client-facing strategy discussions and deliverables. You'll work closely with consulting leads to shape data-driven recommendations tailored to the unique dynamics of Caribbean payments markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Analytical:

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of issuer/acquirer portfolio performance, authorization trends, and spend behavior using Visa and client data.
  • Benchmark client performance against regional and global peer sets to identify gaps and growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain data models, dashboards, and exhibits that translate complex data into clear business insights.
  • Validate data quality and ensure analytical rigor across all deliverables.

Client-Facing / Advisory:

  • Support and occasionally lead client workshops, working sessions, and presentations across Caribbean markets.
  • Translate analytical findings into actionable strategic recommendations for client executives.
  • Partner with consulting leads to shape project storylines, business cases, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted analytical partner to regional stakeholders.
  • Contribute to proposal development and scoping for new client engagements in the region.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related field; MBA a plus.
  • 3–5 years of experience in consulting, analytics, or financial services, ideally with exposure to Caribbean or LAC markets.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint; experience with payments or banking data preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on analysis with client relationship management.
  • Excellent communication skills in English; Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel across Caribbean markets as needed.
