Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, technology, payments and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients. VCA's core client segments include issuers, acquirers, merchants, fintechs, payment enablers and governments.
Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our consulting practice as an Analyst. This role will support the delivery of high-impact consulting engagements across Central America and the Caribbean, working closely with Merchant Sales & Acquiring, Issuing, and other Visa teams to help clients grow their businesses and expand Visa’s acceptance footprint across the region.
The Analyst will contribute to the development of data-driven insights, support client engagements, conduct research and analysis, and assist in the execution of consulting projects aimed at addressing key business challenges and identifying strategic growth opportunities. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of markets, clients, and payment industry topics while providing a strong foundation in consulting, analytics, and payments strategy.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of consulting projects for issuing, merchant, and acquiring clients across Central America, the Caribbean, and regional multinational accounts.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify business opportunities, market trends, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Gather, validate, and analyze client and market data to generate actionable insights and recommendations.
- Develop financial models, business cases, dashboards, and performance analyses to support client decision-making.
- Contribute to the preparation of client deliverables, presentations, workshops, and executive reports.
- Assist project teams in managing engagement workstreams, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder coordination.
- Support the identification and assessment of strategic opportunities leveraging Visa best practices and industry benchmarks.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Marketing, Risk, Innovation, and Data Science to support project execution.
- Monitor project progress and help ensure timely completion of engagement milestones.
- Perform market research, competitive assessments, and benchmarking analyses to support consulting recommendations.
- Produce insights that improve client performance and help address key business challenges across the payments ecosystem.
- Support the development of consulting methodologies, analytical tools, reusable assets, and best practice frameworks for the broader VCA practice.
- Effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
- Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into clear business insights.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in consulting, payments, financial services, and digital commerce.
