As our Enterprise Data business continues to grow across Asia-Pacific, we are looking for an APAC Head of Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution, based in Singapore, to lead our licensing strategy and commercial activities across the region.
You will be the Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution subject matter expert for APAC, operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, product development, and complex enterprise client relationships. You will own and grow regional licensing revenue, develop licensing strategies for existing and emerging client use cases, and lead complex engagements from initial discovery and commercial structuring through negotiation and close.
Working closely with Enterprise Sales, Product, Legal, Commercial, and regional leadership, you will develop scalable licensing models that address evolving client needs while protecting the value of Bloomberg's data and intellectual property. You will also champion APAC client and market requirements within our global Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution strategy.
This role reports directly to the Global Head of Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution.
We’ll trust you to:Lead APAC Licensing Strategy & Commercial Growth

Define and execute the Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution strategy for APAC, reflecting regional client requirements, market developments, regulatory considerations, and emerging business models
Own and grow regional licensing revenue by identifying opportunities within existing client relationships, new products, and evolving client workflows
Partner with Product, Sales, and Legal to develop commercially viable and scalable licensing approaches for Bloomberg data used within client products, platforms, applications, and services
Maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape and APAC financial services ecosystem, bringing regional market intelligence and client perspectives into Bloomberg's global licensing and product strategies

Lead Complex Client Engagements

Lead sophisticated licensing engagements end-to-end, from discovery and use-case assessment through commercial structuring, internal alignment, negotiation, and close
Work directly with senior client stakeholders to structure and negotiate enterprise data licensing and redistribution arrangements
Look beyond individual transactions to identify broader account expansion, strategic partnership, and platform opportunities
Balance evolving client requirements and commercial opportunities with the need to protect Bloomberg's data, intellectual property, and broader franchise

Provide Regional Leadership & Influence

Act as the senior Enterprise Licensing & Redistribution representative for APAC and champion regional requirements across Bloomberg
Influence and align stakeholders across Sales, Product, Legal, Commercial, and regional leadership around licensing strategies and complex client opportunities
Build licensing capability across the APAC Enterprise Sales organization by helping teams identify, develop, and close opportunities
Communicate complex licensing and commercial concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, including senior management

You’ll need to have:

Experience in enterprise financial data, market data, financial technology, or financial services, with demonstrated responsibility for complex commercial, licensing, strategy, or enterprise client engagements
Proven experience structuring and negotiating complex enterprise data licensing and redistribution arrangements
Demonstrated experience working with financial data licensing models involving redistribution, derived data, display and non-display usage, and/or data incorporated into client-facing products, platforms, or services
Strong knowledge of APAC financial markets, market participants, service providers, and financial services workflows
A demonstrated ability to identify commercial expansion opportunities and lead complex enterprise engagements end-to-end
Bachelor's degree or degree-equivalent qualifications
Strong commercial judgment, analytical and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance client requirements, revenue opportunity, scalability, and protection of intellectual property
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively across Sales, Product, Legal, Commercial, and other functions
Excellent written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization

We’d love to see:

Experience with securities services, custody, fund administration, prime brokerage, wealth management, asset management, financial technology platforms, or market infrastructure providers
Experience developing licensing and commercial models for new products, technologies, or emerging client use cases
Established relationships across the APAC financial services ecosystem and knowledge of regional regulatory and market structure considerations
Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others
