Job Description

An 18 month Apprentice opportunity supporting Capital Markets Product Operations with pre and post trade deal processing for RBC Capital Markets securities trading businesses and its clients. The role ensures that trades are captured, matched for settlement, funded and reconciled as well as covering post trade processes. The role is a first line of defence to trading businesses, ensures accurate books and records are maintained whilst providing a seamless client experience.

As an apprentice in Capital Markets Operations you will gain invaluable hands-on experience in the heart of our bank’s operations. You will have the chance to work alongside industry experts and learn about various functions such as trade settlement, risk management, and client services.

Qualification Opportunities: You’ll study part-time for your CISI Investment Operations Certificate through BPP University– whilst being able to put your new skills into practice in your day-to-day role

Training Provided

As an Investment Operations Apprentice with BPP, you will complete the Investment Operations Specialist Level 4 Higher Apprenticeship. The dynamic curriculum spans a number of modules exploring the world of regulatory frameworks, investment products and trading activities. Completion of the apprenticeship will result in you being awarded CISI IOC qualification.

Qualifications Required

Minimum of 3 A-levels at grade B achieved from 2024 onwards in addition to Maths and English at grade 4 at GCSE or equivalent qualifications.
