Get to Know the Team
The Grab B2B marketing team drives growth for Grab's B2B Enterprise businesses, including GrabAds, Grab For Business, and GrabMaps. We are a talented, energetic group of marketers who collaborate cross-functionally with our colleagues in technology, product, go-to-market, and sales.
In this role, you will be a key member of the GrabMaps marketing workstream. You will help shape how our mapping, location intelligence and data solutions are positioned, communicated and adopted by customers. You will also have opportunities to contribute to strategic projects across Grab, including initiatives involving emerging technologies and new business opportunities. This role is ideal for a marketer who enjoys combining product marketing with commercial execution and solving new problems in a fast-moving environment.
Get to Know the Role
As a marketer supporting GrabMaps, you will work across product marketing, go-to-market planning, content and demand generation.
You may start your day by working with Product and Business Development teams to refine the positioning and messaging for a GrabMaps solution, ensuring that complex mapping and location intelligence capabilities are translated into clear customer benefits. You could then collaborate with Sales, Creative and regional stakeholders to develop a customer story, solution brief or launch campaign.
You may also work on a strategic project outside the core GrabMaps portfolio. This could involve researching an emerging business opportunity, shaping the marketing approach for a new technology initiative or coordinating a pilot with multiple stakeholders. The specific projects will evolve according to Grab's priorities, giving you the opportunity to work across different businesses and solve new problems.
Throughout the week, you will review and optimise lead-generation activities, support customer and industry events, and turn insights into recommendations that improve GrabMaps' growth and market presence.
You will report to Marketing Manager, B2B Marketing Services and be based onsite in Petaling Jaya office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Independently lead the GrabMaps marketing workstream covering product marketing, go-to-market planning, demand generation and sales enablement.
- Develop GrabMaps positioning, messaging, customer value propositions and use cases for business and technical audiences.
- Partner with various functions, such as Product, Technology, Business Development, Sales, Communications and country teams to execute campaigns.
- Own the content development pipeline (e.g. case studies, customer stories, thought leadership articles) to support brand, demand generation, and sales conversations.
- Manage demand-generation channels, including the website, CRM nurture programmes, SEO and GEO initiatives.
- Support event and sponsorship execution in partnership with Events Manager – including industry conferences, partner events, and Grab-hosted activations.
- Manage vendors and assigned budgets for your projects, including cost estimates, negotiations, and ensuring activities are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support selected strategic projects across Grab, including emerging technology and new business initiatives, from problem definition and research through to recommendations, pilots and execution.
- Track marketing performance, project outcomes, budgets and vendor delivery against agreed objectives.
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B, technology, SaaS, product marketing or a related field, preferably in a regional or multi-market environment.
- Experience developing product marketing fundamentals, including customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, value propositions, launch plans and sales enablement.
- The ability to translate complex technical concepts, such as mapping, APIs, location intelligence and data solutions, into clear customer and business benefits.
- Experience planning and executing integrated marketing programmes across content, demand generation, digital channels, CRM and events.
- The ability to work effectively with Product, Technology, Sales, Business Development and other cross-functional teams to move initiatives from idea to execution.
- A structured and commercially minded approach to ambiguous projects, with the ability to define problems, conduct research, develop recommendations and deliver measurable outcomes.
- Experience using performance data and customer insights to evaluate initiatives, improve conversion and inform marketing decisions.
- Experience engaging with AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity, improve workflows and contribute new ideas.
