AI in this role
Provide L2/L3 support, management, and performance tuning for large-scale enterprise database platforms.
Ensure service stability, uptime of the systems under the portfolio as per the agreed SLA
Provide L2/L3 support in the respective support area and act on technical escalations
Provide guidance and technical insights to the team for continuous improvements
Maintain systems in adherence with the audit and compliance requirements
Lead and manage the technical team supporting database platforms
- Advice management team to take cost conscious decisions.
Key Result Area:
Service uptime and better customer experience
Systems Security and adherence to patching cadence
Project Management and documentation
Ontime Implementation support for new baselines and policies
- Compliance to Mashreq information security policies security baselines Database performance tuning
Experience:
10+ years of experience in database platforms support in a large-scale environment
Skills in architecting, implementing and providing post implementation support Ensure on time service delivery to internal and external customers Exposure and knowledge of large-scale production support.
Exposure in large-scale upgrades, migrations and transitions in the support area.
Security implementation of the products coming under the portfolio
Problem, Incident, escalation and change management in line with ITIL process Adoption of new database technologies and open source database support Strong Technical Skills in below solutions:
MS SQL as major and Oracle Database Platforms with hands on experience
SQL Always ON
SQL server Database Administration (backup and recovery, SQL installation, SQL Patching)
Database Performance turning
Security implementation
Handson Experience in Oracle database administration like Installation, patching and Backup & Recovery
Database capacity management, purging and other maintenance tasks
