Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze current operational processes and identify opportunities to improve productivity, capacity, quality, and cost through automation and process redesign.
  • Coordinate requirements and integration across warehouse processes, SAP/WMS, master data, system interfaces, and automation equipment.
  • Work with automation vendors and internal stakeholders to develop practical solutions that fit operational requirements and system constraints.
  • Develop robust automation business cases, including productivity improvements, cost avoidance, depreciation/amortization, ROI, payback, and total cost analysis.
  • Define and monitor operational and automation performance metrics, including productivity, equipment utilization/OEE, downtime, yield, and realized savings.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, testing, implementation, and stakeholder communication.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of warehouse and/or manufacturing shop-floor processes.
  • Good working knowledge of SAP, WMS, system interfaces, and master data.
  • Good understanding of automation performance metrics such as productivity, OEE/equipment utilization, downtime analysis, and yield.
  • Ability to understand how operational processes, SAP/WMS flows, and automation equipment interact; deep automation engineering or machine-design expertise is not required.
  • Good to have: financial acumen to develop automation business cases covering depreciation/amortization, cost avoidance, productivity savings, ROI/payback, and cost analysis.
  • Project management, problem-solving, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with Operations, IT, Finance, 3PL partners, and automation vendors.
  • Healthcare industry experience is not required.
