Whole Foods Market is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Pricing Strategy team. You will own end-to-end pricing analyses — translating pricing science, market dynamics, and business performance data into actionable insights that shape how we price for our customers. As the analytics go-to for pricing strategy, you'll build scalable self-serve reporting, design measurement approaches, and drive recommendations on pricing rules, guardrails, and strategic direction.

This is a high-visibility role. As AI accelerates the pace of our work, you'll help shape what's next for pricing analytics — bridging what our Pricing Science team provides with what Category Pricing and Merchandising teams need, and leveraging emerging AI capabilities to accelerate time-to-insight. We're looking for someone who combines analytical depth with clear communication to senior stakeholders and who thrives on ownership and continuous improvement.

Excellent communication — able to distill complex analyses into crisp narratives for senior stakeholders
Proactive and curious — you track food, retail, and natural-products trends and experiment with new tools (including AI/ML)
A foundation in retail merchandising and/or pricing that lets you operate at both the detail and strategic levels

A day in the life

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Pricing Strategy, Data Analytics, Dashboard Building, Cross Functional Leadership, and SQL. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
