Customer Delivery Architect, Customer Experience - Networking, Security & AI Infrastructure

Meet the Team

Join Cisco's ASEAN & Korea Customer Experience (CX) architecture team. You will be the senior technical lead for our most strategic customers — designing multi-domain architectures across networking, data centre, security, cloud and AI infrastructure, guiding delivery, and driving adoption to measurable business outcomes. You will work alongside Sales, Systems Engineering, Customer Success, CX Delivery, TAC, BU/Product and partners, and use Cisco's digital lifecycle and telemetry platforms (Cisco IQ, Cloud Control, observability and automation tooling) to make architecture decisions data-driven.

Your Impact

• Account & architecture leadership — Lead the technical relationship for a focused portfolio of strategic accounts — from architecture and effort scoping (LOE) through delivery governance, adoption, QBRs and renewal.
• Multi-domain design — Design and validate solutions across enterprise networking, SD-Access, SD-WAN/SASE, ACI, EVPN/VXLAN, security, cloud connectivity, Kubernetes and AI infrastructure.
• Large-scale transformation — Lead mission-critical transformations and data centre migrations, owning technical risk, cutover strategy and operational readiness.
• Validation to production — Run labs, PoCs and solution validations that prove customer use cases and create a clear path to production adoption.
• Data-led lifecycle — Use telemetry, observability and lifecycle insights (Cisco IQ, Cloud Control, ThousandEyes) to drive architecture reviews, executive QBRs and risk mitigation.
• Cloud control & governance — Advise on hybrid/multicloud governance — secure connectivity, policy, compliance, operational visibility and automation.
• AI & automation — Apply AI, AIOps and automation to improve resilience, accelerate adoption and make delivery repeatable — grounded in Cisco security, privacy and responsible AI principles.
• Critical escalations — Provide senior architecture leadership on escalations, coordinating TAC, BU engineering and partners to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Reuse & mentorship — Build reusable reference architectures, playbooks and automation assets adopted across the region; mentor architects and lead technical enablement.
• Influence & presence — Feed field insight, adoption blockers and product gaps back to Cisco BU/Product and CX leadership; represent Cisco at customer briefings and events such as Cisco Live.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field with 15+ years of experience, or CCIE/CCDE with 12+ years, or equivalent practical experience.
• Expert-level technical depth in networking and/or security (CCIE, CCDE or equivalent demonstrated experience).
• Proven experience owning both pre-sales solution design and hands-on delivery for enterprise or service provider customers.
• Track record leading complex engagements through architecture, implementation governance, adoption and operational handover.
• Experience using telemetry, observability or lifecycle insights to guide architecture and customer outcomes.
• Strong executive communication — able to explain strategy, tradeoffs, risk and business impact to VP/C-level stakeholders.
• Experience leading large-scale network or data centre transformation in mission-critical environments (e.g. FSI).
• Domain familiarity in at least one regulated vertical — Financial Services, Healthcare or Public Sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on with SD-Access, SD-WAN, ACI, EVPN/VXLAN, Zero Trust/SASE, cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP), containers and orchestration (Kubernetes), automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform) or AI/ML infrastructure (GPU platforms, MLOps).
• Experience with Cisco IQ, Cloud Control, ThousandEyes, Splunk, Control Hub or similar lifecycle, observability and AIOps platforms.
• Additional certification beyond CCIE — AWS/Azure/GCP Professional Architect, CISSP, PCNSE, CKA.
• Track record building PoC labs, reference architectures or automation tooling reused by other teams.
• Experience presenting at customer executive briefings and industry conferences, and mentoring or leading regional technical initiatives.
