Digital Innovation & AI Automation Expert
As a Digital Innovation & AI Automation Expert, you will drive AI and automation initiatives that improve productivity, simplify business processes, and create measurable value for Philips. Based in the Panama hub, you will work closely with business teams, solution architects, and delivery teams to identify opportunities, shape scalable solutions, and support their successful implementation.
This role combines three key areas: AI and automation expertise, solution co-creation with business and architecture teams, and capability building through AI education and governance.
Your role
- Act as a solution-driven business partner, identifying opportunities to improve productivity, operational performance, and user experience through AI, automation, digitalization, and process optimization, while contributing to Agile ways of working, release planning, PI planning workshops, deployment coordination, and continuous improvement of solution performance and reliability, and serving as a subject matter expert in AI and automation technologies, including generative AI, workflow automation, robotic process automation, low-code platforms, and related digital capabilities.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points, define requirements, assess value potential, and translate needs into clear solution concepts and business cases.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Business Process Experts, Platform Analysts, DevOps teams, and delivery teams to design integrated, scalable, secure, and reusable solutions.
- Lead or support small- to medium-sized AI and automation initiatives, ensuring quality, timely delivery, adoption, and realization of expected business benefits.
- Build AI and automation capability across the organization and contribute to the development of the Panama Digital Innovation HUB by working collaboratively with internal teams, external partners, and suppliers to scale delivery capacity and impact,supporting awareness sessions, training initiatives, best-practice sharing, and communities of practice.
You’re the right fit if
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Posses +2 years of experience with Bachelor's Or+1 year of experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, software development, IT applications, process optimization, or low-code platforms.
- Hands-on experience designing and delivering solutions using technologies such as Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, Robotic Process Automation, workflow automation, and data and analytics tools, with a strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, security, data privacy, and compliance in solution design and deployment.
- Ability to translate business challenges into practical digital solutions, communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, work in Agile delivery environments, collaborate across business, architecture, development, and operations teams, and facilitate discussions, training or enablement sessions, and cross-functional stakeholder influence.
- Ability to fluidly communicate in English is required.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This is an in-office role.
