ABOUT THE ROLE
Audible is transforming its membership portfolio to give customers more value, more choice, and more ways to listen. That transformation runs on complex launches spanning cross-functional teams and channels.
The Director, GTM Operations L owns go-to-market coordination, readiness, and on-time delivery across the membership portfolio evolution. You design the GTM plan and working-backward timeline that brings the strategy to life for customers, and you keep the GTM team on track to launch through strategic problem solving, rigorous program management and clear communication. You run milestone reviews at the right time with the right people, documenting feedback, decisions, and open disagreements for resolution or escalation. When something slips, you catch it early and use sound judgment on whether to resolve it within the cross-functional team or escalate for a leadership decision, keeping momentum intact. You work across Product Marketing, surface and channel owners (GLM, Paid Media, Brand/Social, Comms/PR, CS), and measurement partners (Finance, VINCI/Econ) to deliver cohesive messaging and synchronized campaign execution that meets launch and performance objectives in every marketplace.
Because this role centers on marketing launch preparation, readiness, and delivery, you partner with the Product Leads and TPMs (who coordinate across the Product and Tech org) to land a synchronized launch and a clean transition to ongoing operations.
Finally, you will reimagine how we scale our ability to deliver this work through innovative, AI-native solutions.
As a Director, GTM Operations, you will...
- Own end-to-end go-to-market coordination and delivery for Audible's membership portfolio transformation, managing the master GTM project plan across major product launches spanning multiple marketplaces
- Serve as the primary liaison to CEO-Directs and senior leadership, providing clear, concise status reporting against milestones, convening executives for strategic reviews, and ensuring leadership feedback is captured and incorporated into plans
- Drive cross-functional alignment and accountability across Product Marketing, Marketing channel owners, and measurement partners — building consensus and driving teams to committed dates without direct management authority
- Track and ensure marketplace launch readiness across all regions, working right-to-left from committed launch dates to confirm functional teams are on schedule, dependencies are visible, localization is effective, and regulatory/compliance requirements are met in every marketplace
- Ensure messaging and content consistency across the full customer journey — partnering with channel owners to maintain coherent, approved messaging across O&O surfaces, paid/social channels, PR/Comms toolkits, and customer service materials, while securing Legal sign-off to manage regulatory and reputational risk
- Proactively surface risks, delays, and blockers with sufficient lead time for leadership to act escalating to functional leaders or CEO-Directs when workstreams fall behind committed dates, and driving resolution of marketplace-specific gaps before activation
- Partner with Finance, Economics, and Analytics teams to produce and socialize measurement plans tied to clearly defined launch objectives, and coordinate performance reporting and executive communications through the post-launch period into formal BAU transition
- Maintain a global portfolio view across all in-scope launches, tracking cross-initiative dependencies, running recurring cross-functional meetings (project kickoffs, GTM planning sessions, readiness reviews with go/no-go decisions), and ensuring the end-to-end customer experience holds together across this evolution
