We are looking for an exceptional Director, Marketing Operations & Data Enablement to establish and lead a newly formed function at the heart of our marketing transformation agenda.

This is a unique opportunity to shape a critical capability from the ground up, bringing together people, technology and processes to create a stronger, more connected and commercial marketing organisation.

You will lead a diverse team of specialists, set a compelling strategic direction and drive the development of our commercial data foundation, a key enabler of our future marketing effectiveness and commercial growth ambitions.

We are looking for an experienced leader who combines deep technical understanding with exceptional people leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to turn complex transformation plans into tangible business outcomes.

Relocation & visa assistance is offered for this position.

The closing date for all applications will be Friday 20th November 2026.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead a high-performing function, bringing together existing capabilities, new talent and specialist expertise into a cohesive, collaborative and geographically dispersed team.
  • Set the strategic vision and operating model for Marketing Data Enablement and Operations, establishing clear priorities, capabilities and ways of working to support long-term business ambitions.
  • Lead the Commercial Marketing Data Foundation transformation, developing scalable data capabilities, platforms and processes that improve accessibility, efficiency and marketing decision-making.
  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives in partnership with Marketing, Digital Product, Engineering and other stakeholders, navigating dependencies and ensuring successful execution.
  • Translate technical complexity into business value, identifying opportunities to streamline manual processes, improve data enablement and deliver measurable operational improvements.
  • Influence and engage senior leaders, developing compelling business cases, communicating strategic recommendations and securing alignment on priorities, investment and transformation outcomes.
  • Inspire, develop and empower talent, fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture that embraces change, builds technical capabilities and delivers sustainable results.

Play your part in our team succeeding

Our marketing organisation is evolving, with an increasing focus on building the data foundations, capabilities and ways of working needed to support more effective, connected and insight-driven marketing.

The Marketing Operations & Data Enablement function will play a pivotal role in this transformation, enabling teams to access and use marketing data more efficiently while developing scalable solutions that support our future ambitions.

As the leader of this newly established function, you will have the opportunity to shape its strategy, build its capabilities and create meaningful change across the wider organisation.

Your success will depend not only on your understanding of data and technology, but on your ability to inspire people, influence senior stakeholders and bring together teams to deliver ambitious outcomes.

Do you have what it takes?

We are looking for an accomplished leader who brings a strong combination of people leadership, technical understanding and proven transformation experience.

  • Significant leadership experience at Director level, with a proven track record of leading, developing and empowering multidisciplinary teams within a complex, international organisation.
  • Demonstrable ownership of large-scale transformation initiatives, including developing the strategy, building organisational capabilities and successfully delivering change with measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong technical understanding of data enablement, data platforms, infrastructure and data-driven operations, with the credibility to guide technical specialists, challenge assumptions and make informed strategic decisions.
  • Experience establishing, integrating or scaling teams and functions, including defining operating models, building capabilities and embedding effective governance and ways of working.
  • Outstanding senior stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly, create compelling business cases and secure alignment across executive-level audiences.
  • Proven cross-functional leadership, particularly navigating dependencies between business teams, Digital Product, Engineering and technology stakeholders to deliver strategic priorities.
  • A balance of strategic vision and operational execution, demonstrating the ability to set direction while remaining sufficiently close to the detail to challenge, unblock and deliver.
  • Exceptional people leadership, with a genuine commitment to developing talent, building trust, fostering collaboration and leading teams successfully through ambiguity and change.

Experience within Management Consulting, particularly in strategy, technology-enabled transformation or operating model development, would be an advantage when combined with substantial experience leading teams and delivering transformation in a business environment.

Experience within marketing technology, marketing data or related data enablement functions would also be valuable.

Above all, we are looking for a leader who can bring people together, create a compelling vision and turn strategic ambition into lasting organisational impact.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Marketing Operations, Data Enablement, Strategic Planning, and Cross Functional Leadership. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
