Location: Krakow, Poland (We follow a hybrid work approach with a minimum office presence of 3 days per week.)

Your Impact 

Cisco Webex helps people and businesses across the entire world to connect and collaborate. As a member of the Webex media team, your work will ensure that every person using our products receives a truly immersive experience, regardless of their device or location. 

On a day-to-day basis, this role involves: 

• Bringing to life new software functionality based on product requirements. 
• Performing peer code reviews and automating all development chores. 
• Participating in agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, planning, release, and retrospective meetings. 
• Broadening your technical and soft skills with the help of our comprehensive training programs. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

• 1+ years of professional software development experience and a BSc (or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of degree.
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust with strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. 
• Uses AI responsibly to accelerate development. 

Preferred qualifications 

• Professional verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Knowledge of WebRTC/ SIP protocols 
• Experience with reviewing AI-generated code  
• Experience steering AI effectively via context and prompt design. 
• Collaborative and eager to learn.
