Senior ManagerJob Description & Summary
Our Cyber Risk & Strategy team helps organizations understand and manage the risks that come with using technology and digital services.
We work with clients to answer practical questions such as: Are our most important systems sufficiently protected? Are the right controls in place? Where are the biggest risks, and what needs to improve? Are we meeting regulatory and industry expectations?
As a (Senior) Manager, you will lead engagements that answer these questions. You will define the approach, guide project teams, challenge client thinking and turn complex cyber, regulatory and control topics into clear decisions and practical improvement plans.
Core Activities: "What you'll be working on"
- Lead client engagements from start to finish: Define the workplan, shape the assessment approach and take responsibility for delivery quality and outcomes.
- Help clients identify what matters most: Understand their business, technology landscape and risk exposure, then focus attention on the areas with the greatest impact.
- Turn complex requirements into practical actions: Translate regulations, standards and control expectations into changes clients can realistically implement.
- Challenge and advise senior stakeholders: Discuss findings with management, explain their implications and help clients decide how to respond.
- Design improvement programs: Develop target governance models, control frameworks, strategies, remediation plans and transformation roadmaps.
- Lead and develop teams: Set direction, review outputs, coach team members and ensure consistent quality across multiple workstreams.
- Manage client relationships: Build trust beyond individual projects, understand emerging needs and identify where additional support can create value.
- Shape the practice: Contribute to new offerings, methodologies, proposals and capability development.
Key Skills: "What you need to have"
Typically 7–12+ years of relevant experience in cyber risk, technology risk, governance, compliance, IT audit, strategy development or related consulting areas.
We are looking for people who can take an unclear or complex client problem and turn it into a structured approach, clear conclusions and realistic actions. You should be comfortable leading teams, challenging senior stakeholders and taking responsibility for the overall quality and direction of an engagement.
Strong communication and judgment are essential. You should be able to explain complex risk topics in business terms, balance regulatory expectations with practical realities and help clients make informed decisions.
Experience across areas such as cyber governance, risk and control assessments, regulatory compliance, third-party risk or technology transformation is valuable. Relevant certifications are an advantage, but leadership, judgment and the ability to solve client problems are more important.
Knowledge Exposure: "What you'll build expertise in"
As a (Senior) Manager, you will move from owning individual workstreams to shaping entire engagements and client relationships. You will deepen your expertise, strengthen your ability to advise senior stakeholders and develop teams, while taking a more active role in creating new solutions, identifying opportunities and growing the practice.
