Job Overview

Creative Designer Level 1 - The Level 1 Designer is a key player in the style creation process and the brand?s style identity. They can manage their projects with different Style interlocutors with a first level of autonomy, in connection with the Design project manager and the Design Quality convergence Manager. They produce sketches at the highest level of creativity to propose new style concepts within the framework of advance phase or project research. They propose sketches that are relevant within the framework of the Brand Style identity during style competitions. When a proposal is retained, they carry out the digital volume setting, working closely with the digital modeler, and then proceed to the physical volume setting, working with the physical modelers. They adapt the creation during the style technical convergence, until the transition to industrialization style. The Level 1 Designer carries out their tasks with a first level of autonomy, with the support of design managers and master and senior level designers. They participate as a driving force in the development of the Style identity, demonstrating a high level of creativity and the ability to decode and exploit the weak signals of future trends. They participate in sketch competitions in interior or exterior design and on behalf of vehicle or mobility object projects or programs. They analyze problems and think about solutions to solve problems, with support and advice. They participate in internal design processes, which include the development of a Clay modeling, digitization of a clay model, and development of hard parts. They ensure the preparation of a presentation to a style manager and present part of the presentation. They contribute to the establishment of new automotive trends and translate emerging trends into automotive objects. They contribute to generating attractive products and/or design for our customers. They realize 2D, 3D sketches, with weekly visual/oral presentations, that are relevant within the Project / Brand Style Identity framework. They ensure the argumentation of their Style positions and are able to explain their choices or stylistic bias with a first level of autonomy during sessions with the design managers. They accompany the physical volume setting in respect of the philosophy of the chosen theme, being with the physical modelers, guiding them, indicating to them what is essential. They propose style evolution necessary for the good development of the projects, knowing how to integrate the constraints of quality, cost, deadlines, and technique, and in respect of the philosophy of the Brand Style. They contribute to demonstrating the need to lift certain technical constraints. They participate in the accompaniment of the quality setting, up to Class C. Finally, they participate in the development of their Profession by being a driving force for evolutions in the process and/or in the organization.
