Responsibilities

Follow ABB Health & Safety policies for all assigned jobs.
Lead or assist in new and retrofit projects, ensuring smooth execution.
Travel as needed to resolve equipment issues and optimize crane system performance.
Collaborate with project managers, prepare job plans, and present service recommendations.
Implement crane system improvements, upgrade obsolete automation, and set up remote monitoring solutions.
Provide professional support, coordinate technical discussions, and identify additional value opportunities for ABB.

Requirements

Electrical Engineering degree or Technologist Diploma with
5+ years in electrical and automation systems installation, servicing, or commissioning.
Strong background in crane electrical systems, industrial software, PLCs, HMI, variable frequency drives, switchgear, and network commissioning.
Proficient in MS Office, strong mechanical aptitude, and maintenance-oriented mindset.
Up to 75% travel, including weekends and holidays; valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and ability to work independently.
