Assignment and main activities:

• will be Finance Point of Contact for central Orange teams and BDO Kazakhstan
• keep active and facilitate the communication between BDO Kazakhstan and central Orange teams (accounting, billing, tax and legal) that are located worldwide
• overview for correctness and coordinate the documents transfers, data and other activities flows between BDO Kazakhstan and central teams
• ensures smooth and timely communication between local and external parties
• provide regular feedback to direct manager (Regional Accounting Manager) about recurring and other specific activities
• ensures both set of accounting books (local and central) are synchronized
• provide support for reconciliation between local and central accounting books (maintained by central team- Accenture)
• provide finance reports – accurate and clean - to central teams on predefined time schedule (monthly, semestrial, yearly): balance sheet reports, cash actuals and forecasts, AR and AP aging, accruals, prepayments, deferrals, FA additions etc., as per company rules
• obtain Tax dept. approval for submitting year end Corporate Income tax (computed by BDO)
• provide BDO with latest payroll data from Orange – salary modifications, bonus amounts etc.
• obtain HR dept. approval for monthly payroll (computed by BDO)
• ask entity’s bank (Citibank Kazakhstan) for bank mandate confirmation at least once per year
• provides support to year end statutory audit or any other local tax audit
• provide support to BDO, local management and central teams
• ensures the knowledge is gained about the finance tools used by the company,follow up their updates and developments and organize personnel and management relations with these tools: Concur, payment systems (FIS) etc.
• reactivity on various inquiries

Education and skills

• College or University degree in Finance
• 3 years’ work experience in finance field
• Basic knowledge about local accounting and tax law in Kazakhstan
• Knowledge about international accounting standards – will be a plus
• Strong attention to details, analytic skills
• Proficiency MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Proficiency in English: read, write, listen
• Communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Proactive and responsible attitude
