Agility’s commercially deployed humanoids operate alongside teams in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, and distribution centers—tackling physically demanding and repetitive tasks while enabling workers to focus on higher-value work. With industry-leading safety standards and years of proven deployment data, we're pioneering a new era of automation that enhances human potential.

About the Role

As a Global Supply Manager – PCBA, you will lead the global sourcing and commodity strategy for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and closely related electronic assemblies powering Agility Robotics' humanoid platforms. You will own supplier selection, cost management, and supplier performance for this commodity, ensuring supply assurance, cost competitiveness, and scalability across development and production phases.

This is a senior, individually-owned commodity role requiring deep knowledge of electronics manufacturing, cost structures, and supplier ecosystems. You will partner closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Product teams to influence design decisions, drive cost efficiencies, and secure a resilient, high-performance PCBA supply chain.

About the Work

  • Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for PCBAs and related electronic assemblies (sensors, power electronics, control systems).
  • Collaborate early with Engineering to influence component selection, ensure DFM/DFT compliance, and align cost, performance, and manufacturability.
  • Lead supplier identification, selection, and qualification across global regions, evaluating technical capability, quality systems, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Champion cost modeling and clean-sheet analysis to establish cost transparency and drive competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements covering pricing, terms, quality standards, and delivery performance.
  • Drive cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives through design optimization and sourcing leverage.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by ensuring PCBAs are sourced and ready in line with program schedules and targets.
  • Develop and maintain supply risk assessments and business continuity strategies for critical PCBA suppliers.
  • Collaborate with CMs, JDMs, and ODMs to ensure components are sourced on time, on cost, and on spec per the Supplier Plan of Record (SPOR).

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering — required, not substitutable with a general business or supply chain degree.
  • 8+ years of procurement or supply-chain experience, with at least 5+ years focused specifically on PCBA or electronics commodity management.
  • Strong working knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes (SMT, wave solder, potting, coating, testing) and the ability to read schematics, BOMs, and DFM/DFT requirements independently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
  • Proven experience managing global electronics suppliers and contract manufacturers (CMs/ODMs) — this is a senior commodity ownership role, not an entry-level position.
  • Deep experience in should-cost analysis, cost modeling, and supplier cost breakdowns.
  • Familiarity with NPI processes, change management, and engineering collaboration in a product development environment.
  • Skilled in negotiation, supplier performance management, and long-term strategic sourcing.
  • Experience using MRP/ERP systems and supplier management tools.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (up to 35%).

Location

  • This is a hybrid position based out of our Fremont office.

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Global Sourcing, Commodity Management, Cost Modeling, Supplier Negotiation, and Dfm. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
