Primary Purpose of the Job

Serve as the primary point of contact with Contracts Department and end–user departments in relation to effectively managing the tendering, contracts management, contract compliance and contractual issues.

Supervise effective management and administration of the Business Support (Contracts) section in the provision of pre and post Contracting advisory services on a diverse & variety of the QatarEnergy's Projects, Operations and Maintenance Services

Oversee review of Procurement Strategy, Contracting Strategies, Scope of Work/Services, tender documents, tender bulletins, tender clarifications and contract document. Ensure that contracting strategies, tenders and contracts are in full compliance with QatarEnergy's Regulations for procurement and disposal (RPD) and Contracting Procedures.

Represent the Business Support (Contracts) section in various tender and evaluation committees.

Provide professional advice, expertise, and practical assistance to all assigned end-user departments under M&L in the pre and post Contract advisory services in a manner that is consistent with QatarEnergy regulations, policies and procedures with established milestone.

Required Experience and Skills

12 – 15 years’ experience in various strata of contracts management, pre and post contract administration with at least 7 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
5 years in a senior position with maturity to provide consistent quality contract advice.

Educational Qualifications

B.Sc. in Engineering Discipline or equivalent.
