The IT Business Engagement Manager in 1UL partners with business leaders to accelerate growth through technology, data, cybersecurity, AI, and digital transformation. The role drives execution of global strategies, simplifies operations, strengthens digital capabilities, ensures service performance, and delivers measurable business value across multiple markets within the One Unilever operating model.

Role Overview

This role will lead the technology and capability agenda for Cambodia and Laos and also lead digital agenda for supply chain and customer operations for 1UL APAC SLMCL Cluster which includes Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Partnering & Digital Leadership

• Serve as the strategic Digital & Technology as IT BP to Cambodia and Laos LT and SCLT for SLMCL, aligning technology investments with business priorities.
• Build strong partnerships with market and functional leaders, translating business needs into digital, data, AI and technology solutions.
• Represent market requirements within regional and global teams, driving prioritization and value realization.

2. Technology Operations & Service Excellence

• Ensure reliable, secure and high-performing technology services for CL
• Act as the senior escalation point for critical technology incidents, service disruptions and operational risks.
• Drive service governance, continuous improvement and successful deployment of technology initiatives.

3. Cyber Security, Risk & Resilience

• Lead market cyber security engagement, fostering a strong culture of awareness, compliance and accountability.
• Coordinate audit, risk, control and business continuity activities to strengthen operational resilience.
• Act as the technology lead during major incidents, ensuring timely response and risk mitigation.

4. Digital Transformation & Innovation

• Accelerate adoption of digital, data and AI capabilities to improve business performance and employee experience.
• Support deployment and value realization of enterprise technology and transformation programmes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

• Strong business partnering capability especially with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain parterning, with the ability to translate business priorities into technology, data and AI solutions. Must be expert in business processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills, with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Experienced in cyber security, risk management, compliance and business resilience.
• Understanding of platforms & technologies used in ERP, WMS, TMS applications
• Logical thinking and informed about modern tools & technologies
• Strong appreciation of Software Development Life Cycle
• Technical Skills –
  • SAP; Sales systems ; Digital Marketing Tools
  • Data and Analytics foundation knowledge – Power BI, Data Warehousing
  • AI – Copilot,Claude, Ability to build agents
• Engineering degree from a reputed college
• Good to have - MBA from a reputed college
