As a (junior) portfolio manager, you are also always looking at improvements in our products and processes. Next to the day-to-day management of the index funds, this is the main task you will be working on. Why? Because continuous improvement makes our investment products better, this regards to processes that can be executed quicker, or implementation of sustainability/quant criteria that can be made more efficient within our optimization setup. Furthermore, this will aid in the development of your skills and knowledge with regards to current processes and implementation of equity strategies within the index strategies, and provides a solid base upon which you can further develop yourself. Furthermore, developments of more quantitative strategies and developments with regards to factor portfolios will be of interest within this role, to keep up with market developments and best practices.
