About the Job:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Sous Chef to join one of the outlets of Jumeirah Al Naseem.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Implement measures to minimize waste and control operating costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Evaluate food products for consistency and quality, maintaining high standards in food preparation.
• Monitor team members' grooming, hygiene, and compliance with safety regulations and SOPs, providing coaching and guidance as needed.
• Conduct training sessions to develop team members' knowledge and skills.
• Prepare food for special orders, buffets, VIP parties, and other events as required, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Oversee and actively participate in delivering excellent service to guests, ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures

About You:

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Hotel Management/F&B Management and/or a Health & Safety certification is considered an advantage, Culinary art training
• 3 - 5 years within the same role and position in a luxury hospitality or high-end restaurant
• Previous HACCP training
• Proven leadership and team development skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and support colleagues in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in Mediterranean Cuisine and Latin American Cuisine is an advantage
