Junior Supply Chain Specialist

Description -

At HP Indigo, ensuring the availability of spare parts is critical to keeping our customers' businesses running. When complex supply chain challenges arise, we need someone who can connect the dots, bring the right people together, and drive decisions that deliver results.

As a Global Spare Parts Escalation & Supply Chain Specialist, you will take ownership of critical operational escalations, lead cross-functional problem-solving, and drive end-to-end resolution of issues impacting global spare parts operations.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, making data-driven decisions, and influencing stakeholders across global organizations. You will combine operational execution, analytical thinking, and continuous improvement to minimize customer impact and strengthen supply chain performance.

What You'll Do

  • Lead critical escalations: Own complex operational issues end to end, from initial identification and root-cause analysis to resolution and follow-up.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Bring together stakeholders across Supply Chain, Engineering, Product Support, Logistics, Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehousing, and regional Service teams to align on priorities and actions.
  • Make decisions that matter: Assess business impact, operational constraints, and customer needs to determine priorities and drive timely, effective solutions.
  • Turn data into action: Analyze operational data to identify risks, bottlenecks, recurring issues, and opportunities to improve performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement: Lead initiatives that streamline processes, improve service levels, reduce operational friction, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Leverage analytics and automation: Develop and improve dashboards, reports, and automated solutions to increase visibility, support decision-making, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), identify performance gaps, and drive corrective actions.
  • Build global partnerships: Serve as a key point of contact for stakeholders worldwide, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and accountability throughout the escalation process.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Customer Support, Manufacturing, or a similar operational environment, preferably in a global organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive collaboration across global teams.
  • Strong ownership, initiative, and accountability, with the ability to make decisions under pressure and maintain a customer-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and analytical tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or Python, along with an interest in process optimization and continuous improvement.

What Success Looks Like

  • Critical escalations are resolved efficiently, with minimal customer and business impact.
  • Cross-functional teams are aligned around clear priorities, ownership, and action plans.
  • Data-driven insights lead to better decisions and measurable operational improvements.
  • Recurring issues are addressed at their root cause, not just resolved in the moment.
  • Processes become more efficient, service performance improves, and stakeholders have greater visibility into operational risks.

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Data Analysis, and Cross Functional Leadership. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
