Wood is currently seeking a Principal Contracts to support our projects business. The role involves contributing to the development of a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia.
The successful candidate will manage contracts for site-based services such as camp operations, logistics, maintenance, and general services.

- Administer and manage vendor contracts from award through full execution, ensuring compliance with project and organizational requirements.
- Review and evaluate contract deliverables, variations, change orders, and claims to ensure alignment with contractual obligations.
- Ensure that commercial and contractual terms are fully aligned with project, company, and client requirements.
- Serve as the primary interface between vendors, engineering teams, procurement, and client representatives to resolve contractual and commercial issues.
- Support internal and external audits, supplier performance evaluations, and contract close‑out processes.
- Monitor contract milestones, schedules, and financial obligations to ensure timely delivery and accurate reporting.
- Identify potential risks and support mitigation strategies related to vendor performance and contract compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management within EPC/EPCM projects.
- Strong background in managing OEM and equipment supply contracts, experience with technology provider vendor or equivalent suppliers is preferred.
- Solid understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in reviewing commercial and contractual documentation.
