Reporting to the Corporate Counsel, Employment Law & Litigation, this role offers an excellent opportunity to support an in-house legal team handling warranty and products litigation matters across the United States and Canada. Working closely with attorneys, external counsel, and key business stakeholders, you will play a central role in managing legal case activity, coordinating documentation, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the successful progression of litigation matters. This is a varied position that combines legal administration, case management, and stakeholder collaboration, providing exposure to a broad range of legal activities and business areas.

What you will be doing:

• Support the Legal Department in managing US and Canadian warranty and product litigation matters.
• Track new legal case filings and maintain accurate records within the legal matter management system.
• Liaise with external counsel, retailers' legal representatives, finance partners, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate and process legal settlements while ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
• Gather and organize documents to support litigation activities, discovery requests, and legal proceedings.
• Assist with drafting legal documents, including subpoenas, litigation holds, and other legal correspondence.
• Prepare litigation reports, attend meetings, and provide administrative support to attorneys, including scheduling, filing, and expense management.
• Contribute to a variety of legal projects and initiatives, providing flexible support across the wider legal team.

What you will need:

• Relevant paralegal or legal assistant experience
• Must have Bachelor’s Degree
• Legal administrative and paralegal skills
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume litigation docket and simultaneously manage and prioritize legal tasks in a timely manner
• Remain flexible to respond to changing business requirements
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and writing skills
• Must have the interest, passion and energy for gaining understanding of the automotive business, the various functions within the company, customers and the company’s products and services. 

Schedule: Hybrid Ways of Working (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - office days; Wednesday and Friday - choice days)

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized components, including location, skills, experience, and market factors. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus in addition to a full range of medical/health, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick/personal, and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position”.
