DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Low-Code Platform Strategy & Roadmap
- Platform Vision & Roadmap: Define and own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for AZ China's low-code platform portfolio, covering Workmate (built on the Weaver/泛微 OA collaboration platform) and Microsoft Power Platform; clearly position each platform and set decision criteria on which use cases should be delivered on which platform.
- Demand Management & Prioritization: Establish a single intake process for low-code and process digitalization demands from business and IT; assess business value, feasibility, and effort, and maintain a prioritized product backlog that maximizes business outcomes.
- Global Alignment: Align with AZ Global IT low-code, collaboration, and enterprise architecture standards, and leverage global Power Platform assets and Center of Excellence (CoE) practices as the default, localizing for China only where necessary.
- Value Realization: Define and track product KPIs (e.g., platform adoption, number of apps and processes digitalized, process cycle-time reduction, user satisfaction, cost avoidance) and regularly report value delivered to stakeholders.
Platform Operations, Enhancement & Efficiency
- Stable Operations of Existing Systems: Ensure the stable, secure, and reliable operation of existing Workmate applications and processes and Power Platform solutions; oversee incident, problem, and change management with vendors and support teams, monitor platform health and SLAs, and drive root cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Application Enhancement: Manage the enhancement backlog for existing applications and workflows, evaluating change requests, optimizing user experience and process performance, and delivering continuous improvements through a regular release cadence.
- Platform Capability Enhancement: Continuously enhance the core capabilities of both platforms, such as reusable components, templates, connectors, integration services, mobile support, and reporting, and plan platform upgrades to unlock new features.
- Efficiency & Productivity Improvement: Drive efficiency improvements in both delivery and operations by standardizing development practices, building reusable assets, automating testing, deployment, and monitoring, and applying AI tools; measure and report efficiency gains and business productivity benefits.
Workmate Platform Ownership (Weaver-based BPM)
- End-to-End Product Ownership: Act as the product owner of Workmate, AZ China's low-code platform built on Weaver OA, accountable for its BPM, workflow approval, e-forms, portal, and collaboration capabilities across the full product lifecycle.
- BPM & Process Digitalization: Partner with business functions (e.g., Commercial, Medical, Finance, HR, Compliance) to analyze, simplify, and digitalize business processes; translate requirements into clear user stories, process designs, and acceptance criteria.
- Delivery & Vendor Management: Manage Weaver and implementation partners through agile delivery, including sprint planning, solution review, UAT, and release; govern vendor performance against scope, quality, timelines, and SLAs.
- Platform Lifecycle & Integration: Manage Workmate version upgrades, license and capacity management, and integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., identity/SSO, ERP, e-signature, enterprise messaging).
- Compliance & Data Protection: Ensure Workmate solutions comply with AZ IT and security policies, China regulations (e.g., Cybersecurity Law, Data Security Law, PIPL), and GxP, Computerized System Validation (CSV), and data integrity requirements where applicable, including access control and audit trails.
Microsoft Power Platform Enablement
- Platform Adoption in China: Lead the introduction and adoption of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, Copilot Studio) in AZ China, working with the Global IT M365 / Power Platform team to address China-specific service availability, tenant, and data residency considerations.
- Microsoft Integration Solutions: Identify and deliver solutions that integrate with and extend Microsoft products (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365, Azure), such as approval automation, data collection, and productivity apps.
- Governance & CoE: Implement Power Platform governance aligned with the global CoE, including environment strategy, DLP and connector policies, security roles, application lifecycle management (ALM), and monitoring of maker and app activity.
- Citizen Developer Enablement: Build a citizen developer program for China with training, templates, reusable components, and community support, enabling business users to build solutions safely within governance guardrails.
Cross-Platform Integration, Governance & AI Innovation
- Cross-Platform Architecture & Integration: Work with enterprise architects to define integration patterns between Workmate, Power Platform, and other enterprise systems (APIs, connectors, SSO), avoiding duplicated capabilities and ensuring a consistent user experience.
- Unified Low-Code Governance: Establish common standards for both platforms covering solution design, review and approval, documentation, testing, release, ownership, and retirement of apps, minimizing shadow IT and technical debt.
- AI-Enabled Low-Code: Identify and implement AI use cases on both platforms, such as Copilot, AI Builder, and AI agents for intelligent forms, document processing, and process automation, to raise productivity and user experience.
- Stakeholder & Change Management: Engage business and IT stakeholders through demos, communications, and adoption campaigns; collect user feedback and drive continuous improvement of both platforms.
