Maintenance Specialist (MRO - Maintenance Repair and Operations)

This Position reports to:

• Manage MRO procurement of maintenance spares, consumables, tools, and specialized contractor services as per maintenance requirements and timelines.
• Plan and control maintenance spare parts inventory, including MSL/ROL, forecasting, criticality assessment, lead-time management, and inventory reduction.
• Manage maintenance stores operations, ensuring proper receipt, storage, identification, system updates, and availability of critical spares.
• Develop alternate/local sources for imported, high-cost, and OEM spare parts to optimize cost and improve availability.
• Coordinate supplier performance and material availability, including PO tracking, delivery follow-up, quality issues, and corrective actions to minimize maintenance downtime.
• Ensure compliance and continuous improvement through ABB procurement procedures, Ariba/catalogue buying, Lean, 5S, TPM, Kaizen, and applicable ISO standards.

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (should be full-time)
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in MRO procurement, sourcing, purchase order management, cost negotiation, and vendor development.
• Hands-on experience in procurement of maintenance spares, including CNC machines, ABB robots, EOT cranes, conveyors, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and air compressor spares.
• Strong knowledge of SAP-MM, inventory management, invoice processing, import shipment handling, and Incoterms.
• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen with experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong negotiation, communication, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
