Pwc Luxembourg is hiring a Manager Operational Tax (Specialised in Withholding Tax Reclaims) (m/f/d) . What if it was you?

Be a part of our team where you will: 

• Work with multinational and local clients, mainly asset managers, insurance companies, private banks and institutional investors, and provide specialised tax support in the field of withholding tax reclaims and operational tax compliance. 

• Manage the end-to-end withholding tax recovery process, including: 

• Identification of reclaim opportunities based on Double Tax Treaties, EU law and domestic regulations; 

• Coordination of documentation collection with clients, custodians and stakeholders; 

• Filing claims with tax authorities and monitoring refunds; 

• Preparation of reporting to clients and internal stakeholders. 

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, participating in meetings, leading discussions on reclaim strategies and supporting complex operational tax topics. 

• Drive process improvement and transformation initiatives, including: 

• Optimising and standardising tax reclaim processes; 

• Supporting automation and technology-driven solutions. 

• Support the leadership team to launch new initiatives and services related to WHT such as FASTER, digital filing, etc.  

• Be managing, supporting, developing a team of junior and senior collaborators. 

Let’s talk about you. If you are / have: 

• A university degree in economics, management, law or taxation. 

• At least 4+ years of experience within a tax advisory firm, financial institution or specialised operational tax team with a strong focus on withholding tax reclaims and operational tax processes. 

• Proven experience managing or supervising withholding tax reclaim operations end-to-end and working with international investors and financial institutions. 

• Familiar with taxation of financial instruments. 

• Strong knowledge of Double Tax Treaties and EU reclaim mechanisms, operational tax compliance and reporting, Taxation of financial instruments and investment structures. 

• A strong interest in process optimisation, internal controls and technology-driven transformation. 

• supportive of the use of technology; 

• a managerial experience and you enjoy working in teams and; 

• Fluent in English; French is required and German would be considered an asset.
