The Opportunity 

As a Network Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our Network Services are designed, deployed, and operated at scale, with high availability and performance, according to SRE philosophy that we implement to Network field. Reliability, Innovation, expertise, scalability, agility will be your drivers.  You’ll join an innovative team deploying VXLAN-based data centers across Europe.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop new shared services to improve Worldline’s velocity and innovation
• Manage, innovate, and create Shared services and tooling that continuously improve the availability, scalability, and efficiency of Worldline
• Work cross-functionally to build fast, reliable, and resilient production systems
• Develop, configure and enhance our automation stack and our CI/CD pipelines.
• Create Documentation that every collaborator can use, improve and share. Technical documentation and user documentation.
• Secure our services, obviously in the payment industry security is must and should be taken into account from the very beginning
• Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco VXLAN EVPN-based infrastructure across multiple countries, including integrations with multi-vendor enterprise systems.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams.

• Autonomous and fast learner
• Comfortable in development/programming skills  
• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels in the organization
• Automation is your answer to (almost) everything
• Security minded  
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Network & automation experience in a HA environment
• Academic or Bachelor level of education or equivalent by experience

• Network Automation & Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Drive deployment velocity, consistency, and compliance by building and integrating network automation scripts using Python , Ansible, Terraform, and REST APIs.
• Experience on Cisco Nexus & VXLAN EVPN architecture
• Routing & Switching :  BGP (iBGP, eBGP, MP-BGP), OSPF, vPC, STP, and Layer 2/3 encapsulation.
• Day-2 Assurance & Operations: Practical experience with Cisco Nexus Dashboard
• Availability for on-call duty
• CCNP certification in Data Center or Enterprise networking, or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Salary Information

In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive, the salary range for this position is between:

Italy: 41,000.00 euro and 56,000.00 euro gross annual salary. 

The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's professional experience, specific skills, and qualifications.
