As part of its growth and development, CMA CGM Belgium is looking for an Outside Sales to strengthen the Reefer team within the Commercial Department.

ABOUT THE ROLE

In this Outside Sales position, you will be the primary point of contact for (potential) customers in Belgium. You will build long-term relationships, identify new market opportunities, and translate customer needs into concrete solutions. With your commercial drive and autonomous approach, you will contribute directly to our growth and visibility in the Belgian reefer market.

Your Responsibilities

Actively visit existing and prospective customers to identify needs and capitalize on business opportunities.
Build and strengthen long-term customer relationships, with a strong focus on service and trust.
Develop and implement a realistic yet ambitious sales plan tailored to the Belgian market.
Prepare commercial proposals, conduct negotiations, and close deals.
Monitor market developments and translate trends into concrete actions.
Collaborate closely with internal teams (Inside Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations) to exceed customer expectations.
Regularly report on progress, market insights, and results to the Cluster Reefer Sales Manager.
Proactively participate in trade fairs, events, and networking sessions to increase our brand awareness.

What Do You Bring?

A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in an external sales role, preferably within logistics, transportation, or a related industry.
A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Dutch, and preferably also in French and/or English.
A self-driven, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Strong affinity with the Belgian market and an established local network are considered significant assets.
A hands-on mentality with flexibility in both thinking and approach.
Proficiency with digital tools (CRM systems, MS Office, etc.).
