About the Role:  

We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Analyst to support accurate and timely payroll delivery across assigned countries. You will validate payroll inputs, reconcile outputs, resolve discrepancies and coordinate with internal teams and payroll partners. You will also support entity and platform transitions and contribute to automation and AI initiatives that simplify global payroll. 

What you’ll do:

• Support payroll transitions between employing entities, payroll providers or platforms by validating employee data, opening balances and payroll results, and coordinating readiness for the first payroll cycle. 
• Coordinate with payroll partners and internal teams to close pending inputs, approvals and discrepancies within agreed timelines, escalating risks that could affect payroll delivery. 
• Investigate recurring payroll errors and exceptions, identify root causes and improve validation checks and processes to prevent recurrence. 
• Maintain country-specific payroll procedures and support statutory reporting, reconciliations and audits in coordination with local payroll partners. 
• Contribute to automation and AI initiatives by identifying manual tasks, documenting payroll requirements, testing workflows and validating outputs, helping us shape the future of Global Payroll 

Who you are: 

• 2-5 years of experience in payroll processing, input validation and reconciliation; exposure to multi-country payroll or payroll partner coordination is an advantage. 
• Sound understanding of payroll calculations, tax and statutory requirements for the countries you have supported. 
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for validating data, reconciling payroll and investigating discrepancies. 
• Comfortable working with payroll systems and learning new tools and workflows. 
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to identify risks and resolve problems. 
• Clear communication skills and the ability to coordinate across teams, manage competing deadlines and work independently. 
• Eager to embrace automation and AI, continuously improve payroll delivery and help shape the future of global payroll. 

 How you’ll grow  

• Build expertise in multi-country payroll, entity transitions and process improvement while gaining hands-on experience with AI agent-powered workflows.
• Work alongside Product, Engineering and Operations to improve payroll accuracy, reduce manual effort and measure the impact of your contributions. 

Note: This role will be part of Payoneer WFM business unit.
