What you'll do in the role:
- Work hand in hand with the core HR Business Partner team as part of HR Service Delivery, providing tactical and operational support across the core HR function and employee lifecycle, sharing insights from the ground, and executing people priorities for the client group.
- Manage day-to-day HR operations for the client group located across different regions, including employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, transfers, promotions, manager changes, compensation actions, mobility and separations, ensuring accuracy, timely completion and strong governance.
- Track requests through to completion, maintain accurate data in HR systems, and provide reporting, metrics and insights to the core HR Business Partner team and stakeholders.
- Serve as a trusted, hands-on advisor to business leaders, managers and employees on the full range of people matters, building strong relationships grounded in credibility, discretion and trust.
- Support employee relations: handle grievances, conduct and performance concerns, investigations and disciplinary matters fairly and consistently, partnering with Employee Relations, Legal and Compliance and ensuring outcomes are well-documented and aligned with policy and local labour law.
- Act as a solution provider: listen carefully, ask probing questions to understand the root cause, and recommend practical, balanced solutions that meet both business needs and employee wellbeing.
- Respond quickly and with agility to changing business priorities, organisational changes and industry developments, adapting people plans and advice accordingly.
- Partner with the business on organisational change, including restructures, team transitions, role changes and workforce planning, ensuring thoughtful change management and clear communication with impacted employees.
- Drive the annual and cyclical talent processes for the client group, including year-end performance evaluations, talent reviews, promotions, compensation and succession planning.
- Use people data and employee feedback to identify trends (e.g., attrition, engagement, ER patterns), anticipate risks and proactively recommend actions.
- Partner with global and regional HR colleagues to localise and land firm-wide people initiatives effectively.
- Actively represent HR Service Delivery in key forums, bringing forward the team’s perspective and ensuring operational insights inform broader discussions, priorities, and decisions
- Contribute to building and maturing the HR Service Delivery team in India, helping define processes, ways of working and the evolving scope of support as the team moves towards an optimised operating model.
