  • Support the resolution of planning issues that may affect production flow or delivery commitments.

3. Technical & Project Documentation

  • Review approved drawings, schedules and project documentation to understand product configurations and scope.

  • Coordinate the timely circulation of current drawings, specifications and revisions to the relevant teams.

  • Maintain accurate records of project plans, changes, production status and delivery dates.

  • Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to help ensure planned products and hardware align with approved project requirements.

  • Support the preparation of planning reports, progress updates and project documentation.

4. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track order status from project release through production completion and dispatch.

  • Prepare regular updates on schedule performance, outstanding actions and delivery risks.

  • Analyse planning data to identify bottlenecks, recurring delays and opportunities to improve workflows.

  • Escalate issues promptly and work with relevant teams to agree corrective actions.

  • Maintain reliable planning data in ERP systems and other approved tracking tools.

5. Ownership, Collaboration & Delivery

  • Take ownership of assigned planning activities and follow actions through to completion.

  • Build effective working relationships with internal teams, suppliers and project stakeholders.

  • Relevant experience in planning, production coordination or project scheduling, preferably in manufacturing, construction products or building materials.

  • Experience with fire-rated doors, door hardware, joinery or related products is an advantage.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, product specifications, bills of materials and project schedules.

  • Knowledge of production planning, material coordination and delivery tracking processes.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP or production planning systems.

  • Strong organisational, analytical and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Adapt your resume

  • List these exact terms on your resume: Project Planning, Scheduling, Production Coordination, Technical Documentation, and Progress Monitoring. An applicant tracking system matches the wording, not the idea.
  • Attach one line of real, concrete experience to at least one of them. A tool named with nothing behind it rarely survives a human read.
