About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Intern to support the development of reusable solutions that help Citizen Developers build faster, safer, and more consistently on Microsoft Power Platform.

You will work on creating templates, reusable Power Apps components, Power Automate patterns, governance automations, and technical assets that can be used by makers across the organization. The role combines  no-code engineering, platform innovation, and automation with a strong focus on scalability and standardization, which aligns with the CoE's focus on reusable assets and platform maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Reusable Component Development

  • Design and build reusable Power Apps components.
  • Create starter application templates for common business scenarios.
  • Develop reusable Power Automate flow templates and patterns.
  • Contribute to the Citizen Development Template Library.
  • Improve existing CoE assets based on maker feedback.

Solution Quality & Standards

  • Help define and document development standards and best practices.
  • Validate reusable assets before publishing.
  • Support application lifecycle management activities.
  • Document technical implementation guidance for makers.

Community Support & Maker Enablement

  • Support makers during Business Support Hours by answering questions related to Microsoft Power Platform and Citizen Development.
  • Help troubleshoot common Power Apps, Power Automate, and governance-related issues.
  • Facilitate community calls, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Demonstrate reusable components, templates, and best practices to makers.
  • Gather feedback from the Citizen Development community and identify opportunities for new reusable assets and improvements.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, FAQs, and self-service guidance materials to reduce recurring support requests.
  • Promote adoption of CoE standards, templates, and governance practices across the maker community.

Requirements

Must Have

  • Student of Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • Experience with Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management concepts.
  • Interest in Low-Code/No-Code technologies and AI capabilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly.

Nice to Have

  • Basic knowledge of:
    • Power BI
    • SharePoint
    • TypeScript
