Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- **Own end-to-end project management** for assigned campaigns - from brief intake through execution and performance tracking - coordinating across business partners, marketing teams, and creative/production stakeholders for hybrid content work streams
- **Translate business requirements** into actionable project briefs that clearly communicate strategic intent, deliverable specifications, and success criteria to internal teams
- **Proactively identify stakeholder and business partner requirements** to develop strategic plans that integrate marketing and creative elements, and present recommendations to partners for alignment
- **Serve as the liaison** between brand stakeholders and business partners, providing operational support and clear communication throughout the production lifecycle
- **Partner with Account Management and Business Development teams** to identify, develop, and convert new and existing business opportunities into actionable engagements
- **Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans**, coordinating with cross-functional creative and production stakeholders to deliver on parallel work streams
- **Drive marketing and creative alignment** with leadership and stakeholders by presenting campaign strategies, progress updates, and final deliverables
- **Prepare and present cadenced business reporting**, including Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), to track campaign performance and operational metrics
- **Identify and implement process improvements** across production workflows, documenting SOPs and sharing best practices to elevate team efficiency and output quality

eShop Studio Japan is part of a global creative network with five hub studios in Barcelona, New York, London, New Delhi, and Tokyo - producing photography, videography, and emerging-format content at scale for millions of Amazon customers. Our Tokyo team is a fast-moving group of producers, art directors, stylists, videographers, and technologists who create high-quality visual content across fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and consumer electronics for both global and local brands. We blend traditional creative craft with cutting-edge technology - including Virtual Production stages, AI-driven workflows, and 3D capture systems - to push the boundaries of what's possible in e-commerce content. Basic qualifications
- • 5+ years of experience in creative production, project management, or account management within a studio or agency environment
- • Experience managing end-to-end creative campaigns across photography, video, or multimedia content
- • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, meeting deadlines, and managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation for content productions
- • Experience presenting to mid-level and senior leadership with clear, concise narratives
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- • Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese (written and verbal)
- • Ability to work on-site full-time in a studio environment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience leading process improvements or operations tool implementations (e.g. digital asset management tool)
- Experience and understanding of the workflow within a marketing, production, or creative department or company
- • Experience with e-commerce or catalog-scale content production
- • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- • Experience building the busines stakeholder relationship and supporting stakeholder management
- • Experience contributing to MBR/QBR narratives and business reviews
- • Exposure to generative AI, or emerging content formats
- • Experience with process improvement or SOP development in a production environment
- • Data-driven decision-making experience with production metrics and KPIs
